A little gentle care after your HydraFacial helps your skin stay comfortable while you enjoy its refreshed appearance.
The First Day
Follow your esthetician's individualized instructions. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer, and avoid scrubbing or adding several new active products immediately after treatment.
Sun Protection Matters
Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every day. Limit unnecessary sun exposure, especially if your treatment included exfoliation.
Be Thoughtful With Active Ingredients
Your esthetician may recommend temporarily pausing retinoids, strong exfoliating acids or other potentially irritating products based on the exact treatment and your skin.
When to Ask for Help
Mild temporary sensitivity can occur. Contact your treatment provider if you experience unexpected or persistent irritation, and seek medical care for severe reactions.
